Track Logix
Vehicle Tracking Software: Track LogiX
We offer 2 versions of Track Logix, see the links above for version comparison.
While your fleet is out on the road, Track LogiX lets you see GPS (Global Positioning System) data sent back to your base. You can monitor for delays in the expected schedule, and warn your customers, or reschedule accordingly. Track LogiX can also be used in a retrospective mode allowing you to view the previous day's performance played out in just a few minutes.
Track LogiX and Vehicle Tracking
The logistics industry is faced with increasing demand for greater compliance with legislation, time and cost efficiencies. The availability of software such as Track LogiX provides logistics services with a management tool to control costs and productivity, improve customer service and answer all the questions in a real-time situation.
DPS can provide real-time communication between the vehicle and driver, the customer and the operator, providing immediate comparisons between what actually happened and what was suggested. On-board computers capture data from many functions within the vehicle, providing real-time information back to base, linking also with GPS giving accurate vehicle location at any time, anywhere in the world.
Today's technology provides for better voice and data communication with driver and customer. On-board terminals for two-way messaging, logging information, bar-coding of products and customers' signatures, linking directly back to Plan LogiX updating each and every route and/or drop.
Additional benefits include linking back to the actual route schedule, updating and amending each route and drop in real-time, thus allowing better customer service, data connection with the host base station and keeping the Head Office aware of the situation as well as providing greater security for drivers.
DPS acknowledge that the configuration and method in which Track LogiX is used will vary considerably between installations. We are fully prepared, therefore, to develop bespoke solutions based on the Track LogiX mapping system. It is also possible to incorporate DPS' extensive experience of vehicle routing software. Some possibilities are...
- Find the nearest depot/garage/customer to a vehicle, or find the nearest vehicle to a specific location. This type of calculation can take actual roads into account, and not simply use the 'straight-line' distance
- Calculate a vehicle's time of arrival at its destination based upon its current location
- Calculate the best route from a vehicle's current location to a specific place
- Provide a warning if a vehicle deviates from a predetermined route, or is running late
- List all vehicles within a specific travelling time from a chosen location
